I was so excited to be the winning bidder on Callaway's Blue Norther and please realize part of the proceeds went to Callaway Hills Animal Shelter! We were planning the breeding for the last of this month. Tony called me Monday evening to tell me Blue was very bad and probably wouln't be with us on Tuesday...she said she didn't want me to hear the news "by the grape vine". It is so sad to lose an old friend and such a ledgend to the Saddlebred world. Tonly also said she would be sure I got as many frozen straws as needed to be sure to get my mare in foal..that is a true breeder. Rest in peace Blue. Faydelle
